4. Brockley Society urgently needs a Treasurer!
Our treasurer stepped down at our November AGM due to other commitments. We urgently need someone to replace her. Accounting knowledge is useful though not essential.
The main work is the newsletter advertising revenue three times a year and the Midsummer Fayre. We use an elegant online accounts system called Quick File. The fayre stalls coordinator (usually different from the treasurer) enters applications directly on to the system. The treasurer has to oversee bank reconciliation and payments.
To discuss further details please ring me, Clare, or .

7. Philippines Typhoon Haiyan appeal
See below Alison’s report on the appeal (pdf), which I would have sent before Christmas had my laptop not been stolen (thanks for the many messages). There was a magnificent response to the appeal from Brockley!
